Transparency

The WSMA supports efforts to require health care insurers licensed in Washington State to publish by January 1, 2022 and annually thereafter, in electronic or other commonly accessible format, a list – including negotiated and contracted reimbursement rate for each –of the top twenty ‘Evaluation and Management’ services and Procedures (as defined by E&M codes and CPT codes) by both volume and dollar value for each contract with groups practicing medicine in Washington State (C-18, A-20).
