About Us
For more than 125 years, the Washington State Medical Association has
worked on behalf of physicians, patients, and the practice community in
Washington state. Through the WSMA, physicians and physician assistants
stand together regardless of specialty to ensure patients have access to
quality care and to make our state the best place to practice medicine and
to receive care.
In the About Us section you will find:
Who We Are
The WSMA is the largest physician professional association in Washington,
representing physicians, residents, medical students, and physician
assistants from nearly all specialties and practice settings throughout
the state.
Who We Are
Strategic Plan
The WSMA is guided by a strategic plan, which outlines key priorities for
the association, areas of focus for its work, strategic goals, and
associated benchmarks. The WSMA’s strategic plan reflects the
association’s commitment to its members, which is to make a difference,
whether that’s by improving the practice environment, their professional
status, or the care they provide to patients and communities.
