As the health care industry and medical practice evolves, so, too, do WSMA’s efforts to ensure our members’ professional development. The WSMA is pleased to announce more additions to its growing list of podcasts, many of which offer continuing education credit.

The WSMA has collaborated with Edwin Lindo, JD, to produce engaging health equity education that fulfills the Washington state requirement of two hours in health equity continuing education at least once every four years.

In this four-part audio miniseries, Lindo covers the history of racism in medicine and the impacts of the medical profession on health equity. He shares how some of your colleagues have tackled these thorny issues, structurally and individually, and gives you ideas on how to incorporate equity principles into practice.
