The WSMA urges the Washington State Health Care Authority to reevaluate
its reimbursement policies and expeditiously return to an approach that
incentivizes and rewards health care professionals for achieving positive
patient outcomes. (Res C-1, A-23)
The WSMA urges the Washington State Health Care Authority to implement
reimbursement policies that incentivize and reward disparity reductions in
patient-oriented outcomes to avoid payment models that financially
penalize practices that disproportionately care for patients with high
