Expanded Access of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) In Public
Spaces
The WSMA supports placement of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in
public spaces, including government buildings, schools, parks, and other
athletic and recreational facilities in order to enhance public safety and
increase out-of-hospital survival for civilians who experience a cardiac
