Violence Against Asian Americans

The WSMA opposes hatred and hate crimes against Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) peoples. (B-2, A-21)

The WSMA supports the teaching of Washington state’s history of prejudice, including anti-Asian American and Pacific Islander violence, in schools. (B-2, A-21)

The WSMA provides guidance in trauma-informed approaches for medical professionals to discuss and support patients who may be victims of prejudice and hate crimes, and advocate for their affected patients. (B-2, A-21)
