Attorney-Physician Relations
The WSMA supports the discussion of a patient's history, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis with the patient's lawyer with consent of the patient or his/her legal representative. (Reaffirmed A-17)
The WSMA affirms that it is not improper for a physician to testify in court or before a workmen's compensation board or the like in any personal injury case. (JC 5.07-87) (Reaffirmed A-17)
