Scope of Practice
The WSMA is opposed to the definition (or "like" definitions) of "chiropractic practice" as a practice providing point of entry into the
health system for the treatment and referral of patients. The WSMA is opposed to all expansion of chiropractic scope, including non-spinal
procedures and particularly manipulation of extremities complementary to or preparatory to a chiropractic spinal adjustment. (EC 2/90; Res
17, A-89; Res 43, B-88) (Reaffirmed A-17) (Reaffirmed A-20)
