Child Marriage
The WSMA opposes the practice of childhood marriage, so defined as
marriage in minors under the age of 18. (C-11, A-20)
The WSMA supports legislation that ends the practice of child marriage by
requiring the minimum marriage age to be 18 with no exceptions. (C-11,
A-20)
