National Practitioner Data Bank

The WSMA believes that all licensed health care providers should be subject to mandatory reporting to the National Practitioner Data Bank for: 1) adverse licensure actions; 2) adverse clinical privilege actions; 3) adverse professional society membership actions; 4) paid malpractice judgments or settlements; 5) adverse Medicare/Medicaid participation actions; and, 6) if applicable, adverse DEA licensure actions.
