Head Protection
In order to prevent serious head injuries and associated traumatic brain injury, the WSMA supports appropriate efforts to educate parents and children about protection of the head when horse riding or cycling or playing contact sports. (Res 11, A-84) (Amended A-17)
The WSMA supports legislation mandating bicycle helmets be worn by all bicycle riders.
