Why WSMA: WSMA represents a vital organization dedicated
to supporting physicians, advocating for patients, and fostering better
healthcare outcomes for patients across our state.
Why serve on WSMA’s Board: I am committed to advancing
healthcare in Washington State, and ensuring physicians and patients have
a strong voice in shaping the future of medicine. My background in
implementing a patient-centered management system to improve quality
outcomes, while enhancing patient and team experience, allows me to
contribute to initiatives that drive positive change in these critical
areas.
Why should physicians lead: Physicians possess firsthand
knowledge of the challenges involved in delivering healthcare, and the
insight needed to make well-informed, patient- centered decisions. As
leaders, they can leverage innovation and collaboration to enhance patient
care, support their colleagues and advance equity in healthcare delivery.
How do you help further WSMA’s vision to make Washington state the best
place to practice medicine and receive care: As a WSMA Board member, I have the opportunity to help champion policies
that enhance patient access to quality care, promote physician well-being,
and advance healthcare equity. By fostering innovation, advocacy and
collaboration, WSMA Board members play important roles in ensuring
Washington state’s healthcare system is exceptional for patients and
physicians.
