Support for Rapid Methadone Inpatient Stabilization and Linkage to Care
The WSMA endorse appropriate implementation of a rapid methadone stabilization pathway for treatment of opioid use disorder in pregnant patients, with higher-than-traditional doses given twice daily, and linkage to care at time of discharge along with dispensing of naloxone and 72 hours of methadone.
