Misinformation

The WSMA opposes the spread and dissemination of medical misinformation by physicians and other healthcare professionals, and recognizes the importance of evidence-based practice. (B-16, A-22)

The WSMA recognizes that providing misinformation regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, and other vaccines in general, contradicts physicians’ and other healthcare professionals’ ethical and professional responsibilities. (B-16, A-22)
