Expanding Vaccine Access to Young Adults
The WSMA supports extending access to publicly funded vaccines—equivalent to those offered under the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program—to all eligible individuals through age 26 (Res B-7, A-25)
The WSMA shall work with the Washington State Department of Health, local health jurisdictions, academic institutions, and community partners to explore strategies for expanding access to state-managed vaccine programs without impairing current vaccine availability through private insurance plans for young adults aged 19–26. (Res B-7, A-25)
