Micro and Nano Plastics

The WSMA encourages hospitals and clinics to reduce their own use of plastics, particularly single-use plastics while maintaining patient safety and without increasing the administrative burden or workload for physicians. (B-8, A-24)

The WSMA endorses legislation to incentivize producers to use reusable, recyclable, or compostable packaging, to reduce waste, and to increase the ease of recycling plastics for Washington consumers. (B-8, A-24)
