Increase Access to Methadone Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder

The WSMA supports changes in laws and regulations which prevent qualified physicians from prescribing all FDA-approved medications for treatment of opioid use disorder, including methadone, to be dispensed at pharmacies. The WSMA supports adequate funding for such therapy. (Res B-6, A-23)
