Screening for Unhealthy Social Media Use in The Health Care Setting
The WSMA will work with the Department of Health to support the
dissemination of pre-existing healthy social media guidelines and
resources such as those established by the American Academy of Pediatrics,
American Psychological Association, and the U.S. Surgeon General into the
health care setting. (B-11, A-24)
The WSMA supports the broader use of social media guidelines established
by the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Psychological Association,
and the U.S. Surgeon General and encourages physicians to use them as a
part of patient care. (B-11, A-24)
The WSMA acknowledges and supports the established ongoing research into
