WAMPAC Raffle: Star Wars vs. Star Trek Showdown at the WSMA Annual Meeting

Are you a Jedi or a Trekkie? At this year’s WAMPAC Luncheon at the WSMA Annual Meeting, enter our raffle competition hosted by WAMPAC board members and devoted Star Wars and Star Trek fans Bridget Bush, MD, and Amish Dave, MD, to win a basket filled with fun items from your chosen fandom. Raffle tickets are $10 each and will be available at the Annual Meeting registration desk. You may purchase up to five total tickets.

Raffle winners (and the victor between Dr. Bush and Dr. Dave) will be announced during the WAMPAC Luncheon on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 12:30 p.m. at the Historic Davenport in Spokane. Tickets for the luncheon are $50 and can be purchased when registering for the Annual Meeting (or if you’re a WAMPAC Diamond Club member, your ticket is free!). A limited number of tickets will be available at the registration desk at the meeting.

Your raffle ticket purchases will help support WAMPAC, WSMA’s nonpartisan campaign arm, which works to identify and support candidates for political office whose priorities align with the house of medicine. May the best fandom win!

Also at the Luncheon

As our special guests at the WAMPAC Luncheon, we’ll welcome House Health Care Committee Chair Rep. Dan Bronoske (D-Lakewood) and Ranking Member Rep. Joe Schmick (R-Colfax) to share what’s ahead for healthcare policy during the 2027 state legislative session and answer questions from the audience. Plus, we’ll present Rep. Bronoske with our 2026 Legislator of the Year award.
