Support WAMPAC—and Enter to Win a Day in Olympia!

The 2026 midterm elections are upon us, and it’s time to get engaged. That means filling out your ballot, sifting through campaign mailers, and elevating the voice of physicians in politics by supporting WAMPAC, the WSMA’s nonpartisan campaign arm.

You might be asking, what’s in it for me? The WSMA is celebrating the 2026 election with a special promotion: The 26th contributor to WAMPAC during our contest will win a day at the Capitol during the 2027 legislative session with WSMA’s government affairs team! We’re also lowering the price of Diamond Club membership to a promotional rate of $100 for the duration of the election cycle so everyone can get involved.

Have you ever wondered how accurate television shows like “The West Wing” and “Parks and Recreation” are at portraying the ins and outs of the policymaking process? Are you curious about how WSMA’s advocacy plays out in real time? Now is your chance to spend a day with WSMA’s lobbyists as we navigate legislator meetings, trade gossip in the hallway, testify in committee hearings, and more.

But, the clocking is ticking—this opportunity is only available until primary election day on Aug. 4. To enter, you must contribute to WAMPAC at a level of at least $100 by Tuesday, Aug. 4. The 26th contributor will receive the day in Olympia, with the winner to be announced in the Aug. 7 edition of the WSMA Advocacy Report.

Contribute to WAMPAC

This opportunity takes WSMA’s Legislative Summit experience to the next level as you’ll put on a lobbyist hat for the day for real behind-the-scenes activities. WAMPAC will provide travel to and from Olympia, a one-night hotel stay, and meals.

As a reminder, WAMPAC works year-round to identify and support political candidates whose priorities align with the house of medicine, which helps further our legislative advocacy. Your support of WAMPAC helps ensure the physician community voice is at the table.
