Legislative Summit
Save the date for next year’s WSMA Legislative Summit, Tuesday, March 23, 2027!
The Summit takes place at the Washington State Capitol in Olympia and gives Washington’s physicians, physician assistants, residents, and medical students an opportunity to amplify our advocacy message with state legislators.
About the Legislative Summit
Attending the Legislative Summit is a great way to engage more directly with WSMA’s advocacy on behalf of physicians and patients in Washington state. The Summit gives Washington’s physicians, physician assistants, and medical students an opportunity to amplify WSMA’s advocacy message directly with state legislators and support those issues our members have identified as mattering most to their ability to practice good medicine.
The Legislative Summit features updates from health care policy leaders on what’s happening on the ground in Olympia and why it matters to the physician community. Summit attendees will hear from WSMA’s government affairs team who will detail WSMA’s legislative agenda and provide their insider perspectives on the political landscape. And, each year, attendees have the (optional) opportunity to meet with their district legislators.
