WAMPAC Board of Directors

A board of directors governs the Washington Medical Political Action Committee, or WAMPAC, WSMA’s campaign arm. The WAMPAC board consists of one WSMA physician member from each of the state’s 10 congressional districts. There are also membership opportunities for a physician assistant, a resident physician, or a medical student. Leadership positions on the WAMPAC board (chair, vice-chair, secretary-treasurer, and assistant secretary-treasurer) are two-year terms.

WAMPAC provides analysis on elections and meets with those running for office to learn about their legislative priorities and to educate them about policies important to the WSMA. WSMA membership dues includes $25 for WAMPAC (members who do not wish to contribute to WAMPAC can allocate their $25 to the WSMA Foundation for Health Care Improvement or to the WSMA).
