WSMA Policy: Reproductive Health Care: Birth Control

The WSMA encourages reproductive privacy, including individual rights to choose or refuse the use of birth control. (EC 9/91; C-14, A-06) (Reaffirmed A-25)

The WSMA supports efforts to ensure that sterilization and vasectomies performed by physicians with appropriate education and training be available to any patient in Washington state. (Res C-2, A-22)
