The WSMA promotes policy by the Washington State Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission and, if needed, supports legislation which would require the use of a single name identifier for all individuals being prescribed or dispensed controlled or scheduled drugs. (Res C-11, A-95) (Amended A-23)
