The WSMA is pleased to offer three opportunities to advertise digitally.

Membership Memo

  • Membership e-newsletter is sent twice monthly (the 2nd and 4th week of each month).
  • Features up-to-the-minute news and comment on issues relevant to Washington state physicians, their practices and patients.
  • E-newsletter goes to WSMA members, as well as practice managers and other medical association leaders.

WSMA website & Guide to Health Law website

  • The official WSMA website at www.wsma.org delivers a high-quality customer base, receiving over 100,000 visits per year.
  • The Washington Physicians’ Guide to Health Law is an online summary of health care laws and regulations commonly encountered in a medical practice. The guide is freely accessed by WSMA members (11,000), Physicians Insurance members (6,800 insureds), and Washington State Medical Group Management Association members (nearly 500 members).

Digital file specs for online display ads

  • GIF, JPG or PNG (We do not accept Flash/SWF files).
  • Resolution: 72 dpi; file size limit is 700 KB.
  • URL must accompany your digital ad.
  • When naming digital files, please include the advertisers’ name.

How to place your ad

To advertise, contact Pauline Proulx at 206.956.3648 or plp@wsma.org. Ads must be received by the first of the week prior to publication. The Membership Memo is published the 2nd and 4th week of each month. Advertisers may cancel orders up to two weeks prior to the Membership Memo publication date. Display ads are placed on a variety of the most popular pages on www.wsma.org. A single ad will appear on every page in the legal guide. Payment is required prior to ad placement. We accept check, Visa or MasterCard. 

Advertising is subject to space availability. WSMA reserves the right to approve all advertising.

Print Display Advertising

Information on print display advertising opportunities in WSMA Reports, our member newsletter.

Print display advertising will appear in our WSMA Reports, 4/C, 16- 20-page newsletter printed six times per year and mailed to almost 11,000 members.

Specs for printed display ads

PDF/X-1a formatted ads are preferred with all fonts and images embedded (no native files). Scanned images must be high resolution (300 dpi) and CMYK or grayscale (no spot colors, RGB, LAB, or ICC color profiles please). Please use 133-line screen for halftones and tints.

Classified Advertising & Career Center

Place a text ad with your logo on our online Career Center and print newsletter, WSMA Reports.

Classified advertising, online and in print, is a great way to post job openings, find new employment opportunities, promote a service, sell a practice or find and lease space. You connect with nearly 11,000 member physicians and physician assistants, as well as clinic administrators and the public.

We offer classified advertising opportunities in our online Career Center and in our print newsletter, WSMA Reports.

How to place your ad

Submit your classified ad for the Career Center and/or WSMA Reports by email to advertising@wsma.org. Classified ads are uploaded to the Career Center weekly. For WSMA Reports, the deadline for space reservation for each issue is the 5th of the month, two months preceding the month of publication. WSMA Reports is published six times per year—months of publication include January, March, May, July, September and November.

Add your company logo

Your company logo can appear with your classified ad in both the Career Center and in our print newsletter, WSMA Reports. For your printed logo: Please submit a CMYK or grayscale high-resolution graphic file (300 dpi) in eps, jpg, pdf or tif format. For online logos: an RGB or grayscale low-resolution graphic file (72 dpi) in jpg, gif or png format.

Rates

For members and clinics

$60 for the first 50 words or less and 60¢ for each additional word

For non-members and hospitals

$100 per month for the first 50 words or less and $1 for each additional word.

Add your company logo

$25 per month for each logo submitted.

Links to websites and emails (Career Center only)

$15 per link, per month.

Classified rates are for one month (four weeks) for online or a single print newsletter issue.

Cancellation policy for print classified ads: Cancellations must be received 60 days preceding the month of publication.
