The coordinator maintains various legislative and regulatory tracking and reporting systems to determine the impact on physicians, physician assistants, and their medical practices. The coordinator is responsible for handling the administrative needs of the government affairs and policy staff, managing the Association's Olympia office (facility and equipment), and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the department. </p> <p> You bring: </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with prior legislative experience preferred.</li> <li>Trustworthy and displays excellent judgement, particularly regarding confidentiality.</li> <li>Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and on a team. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively and build relationships with management, staff, members, and other stakeholders.</li> <li>Strong computer skills, including proficiency with all MS Office applications and in conducting online research and reporting.</li> </ul> <h3>We bring:</h3> <p> <strong>Who we are:</strong> We are the largest physician professional organization in the state at more than 12,000 members strong. You will spend time both in our urgent care and in your own practice working alongside specialized surgeons, physical therapists, and other non-operative physicians. </p> <p> This position does not take call, however, may be asked to help with community events such as high school sports physicals and an occasional evening or weekend meeting.
