WSMA’s annual Legislative Summit in Olympia at the Capitol gives Washington's physicians, physician assistants, and medical students an opportunity to amplify our advocacy message with state legislators. The 2024 Legislative Summit is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024. Save the date!

About the Summit

Attend the WSMA Legislative Summit and help us turn WSMA policy into action.

At next year's Summit, join us, along with other top Washington state officials and health care leaders, as we kick off an action-packed day on the hill dedicated to advancing priority issues for physicians, physician assistants, medical students, and patients.

Learn which legislative and budget items the WSMA believes will benefit most from your support during the state legislative session.
Receive information on how to meet with your legislators and effectively deliver our message.

We know your time is valuable: We'll provide lunch and we'll handle scheduling your (optional) personal meetings with your state legislative delegation in the afternoon.

This event provides a unique opportunity to make your voice heard by the people who are deliberating the policies, laws, and regulations in Olympia that impact the practice of medicine in Washington.
