Deadline extended for spring Physician Leadership Course
Just a few spots remain to be filled in WSMA's Physician Leadership Course scheduled to begin this March in Seattle. Physician and physician assistants interested in starting on a leadership track are encouraged to apply by the new deadline, Wednesday, Jan. 23.
WSMA's Physician Leadership Course offers hybrid-distance continuing education for physicians and physician assistants who want to learn more about health care leadership and develop skills to thrive professionally, regardless of the type or size of their organization.
The course combines in-person and online learning to deliver 40 hours of curriculum over 10 weeks. It is designed for practicing physicians, requiring minimal time away from patient care, with two initial days of in-person coursework, eight weeks of online instruction and interaction, and concluding with a one-day in-person session.
For the spring 2019 course, in-person classes will take place Friday, March 8, Saturday, March 9 and Friday, May 10 in Seattle. Online instruction takes place during the intervening eight weeks. Find full course curriculum, tuition and application information on the course webpage.
